2021 Second Quarter Imo State HIV/AIDS Stakeholders Forum Meeting

On the 5th August 2021, Imo State Agency for the Control of HIV/AIDS (Imo SACA) held the Second Quarter of the Imo State HIV/AIDS Stakeholders Forum Meeting. The meeting was held at Newton Hotel, Owerri with stakeholders from different Civil society organizations implementing HIV/AIDS projects in the State and relevant MDAs present at the meeting.

At the meeting, two implementing partners in the state by names Caritas Foundation and Clinton Health Access initiatives implementing the FASTER project made a presentation on their achievements and challenges while implementing the HIV programme in Imo state.

Caritas Foundation also shared some of the strategies they deployed at the field during the COViD-19 lockdown and the period of Unknown Gunmen in the state. After their presentation, the DG of Imo SACA Dr CHARLSE Durueke commended all the organizations and MDAs represented at the meeting and thanked all the stakeholders for their contributions towards the total eradication of HIV in the state.

Towards the end of the meeting, CYDI gave a vote of thanks on behalf of other civil society Organizations represented.
