Advocacy Visit to Deputy Governor of Imo State for Increased Agricultural Budget Allocation

The Imo Cluster of the Agric Budget Plus Cluster conducted an advocacy visit to the Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prof. Placid Njoku, to discuss the possibility of increasing the agricultural budget allocation in the state to 5%. The visit took place on August 21, 2023, at the Office of the Deputy Governor and was attended by key stakeholders in the agricultural sector, including the Commissioners for Agriculture and Livestock, as well as the Vice Chancellor of Imo State University of Agriculture and Environment
