Community & Youth Development Initiatives (CYDI) is delighted to announce the Imo State MHM Working Group Report launch for the 2024 Menstrual Hygiene Day, in collaboration with esteemed partner organizations. This report captures the impactful work led by the Technical Working Group on Menstrual Health and Hygiene Management in Nigeria, established through the collective efforts of WSSCC and the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs. CYDI extends heartfelt thanks to the organizations that made this project a success: CARA Development Foundation, Foundation for Livelihood Advancement, HonourBirth Foundation, Alliances for Africa (AfA), Virgin Heart Foundation (VHF), Communal Care Center (CCC), and Open Arms Initiatives. Together, these partners helped execute a series of activities, including a live chat with religious groups and outreach to schools and health centers, reaching 274 individuals and distributing 130 reusable sanitary pads. This report not only celebrates the achievements of the 2024 MHM Day but also highlights important lessons for future advocacy.
