Application for Social Media Volunteers for a 2-Day Training in Imo State

Community & Youth Development Initiatives (CYDI) invites passionate young people in Imo State, aged 18-35 years, residing in Owerri Municipal, Owerri North, Owerri West, and Ikeduru LGA, to participate in a Social Media Advocacy Training on Education, Health, and Well-being.

This training will empower participants to become Social Media Advocates (SMAs) who will lead monthly live social media chats on Facebook and X, engaging their followers and community members in vital discussions. Participants will receive monthly data support and training on social media analytics and using data to inform program decisions, enhancing the impact of their advocacy efforts.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Smartphone Access: Applicants must have access to a smartphone.
• Age: Must be between 18 to 35 years old.
• Residency: Must reside in one of the following areas: Owerri Municipal, Owerri West, Owerri North, or Ikeduru LGA.
• Availability: Must be available to participate in the program from August 2024 to January 2025.
• Social Media Presence: Must be active on Facebook and Twitter.
