CSO Network on MHM in Imo State Commemorates the 2024 MHM Day
Ahead of Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) Day on May 28th, the Civil Society Organizations Network on MHM in Imo State organized a 1-day sensitization visit to two Primary Health Centers (PHCs) in Okohia, Isiala Mbano, and Mgbirichi, Ohaji Egbema. During this visit, nursing mothers were educated on menstrual hygiene management and the benefits of using reusable sanitary pads as an alternative.
Additional Activities Scheduled from May 27th to 30th:
- Radio Discussions: Tune in to learn more about menstrual hygiene and related topics.
- School Sensitizations: Educational sessions in schools to raise awareness among students.
- Free Sanitary Pad Distribution: Distribution of free sanitary pads to those in need.
